Fruit Salad Recipe Ingredients:
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 c. diced canned pineapple
  • 1 c. diced pears
  • 12 maraschino cherries, sliced
  • Cooked fruit salad dressing
Fruit Salad Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Mash bananas to a smooth pulp, add pineapple, pears and cherries and add to dressing. Whip cream until stiff and fold into fruit mixture.
Pour into freezing tray of refrigerator and freeze. Required number of hours for freezing salads - 6 to 8 hours. Cut into slices or cubes and serve on lettuce leaf. The fruit salad recipe is ready to serve. Great taste of salad ! Enjoy it !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (14 oz.) can fruit cocktail
  • 1/4 c. reserved fruit cocktail syrup
  • 6 c. (10 1/2 oz.) miniature marshmallows
  • 2/3 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise-type salad dressing
  • 1 c. ginger ale
  • 2/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS
Drain fruit cocktail, reserve 1/4 cup syrup. Combine reserved syrup and marshmallows in saucepan. Cook over low heat until marshmallows melt. Stir constantly, remove from heat. Cool 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine fruit cocktail, nuts, coconut and salad dressing. Add to marshmallow mixture. Mix well. Slowly stir in ginger ale. Chill until mixture begins to mound from spoon.

Chill evaporated milk in pan in freezer until soft crystals begin to form. Whip until stiff 1-2 minutes. Add lemon juice, continue to whip until very stiff 1-2 minutes longer. Fold into marshmallow and fruit mixture.
Spoon into 5 oz. paper cups. Insert wooden stick in each. Freeze until firm. 6 hours or overnight. Peel off paper and the fruit salad recipe on s stick is ready to serve. Enjoy it !

  • 1 pkg. lime jello
  • 1 med. size can of fruit cocktail

  • 2 tbsp. salad dressing
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 sm. can evaporated milk, chilled
INSTRUCTIONS
Drain juice from fruit cocktail to make one cup of juice. To the juice, add water if needed, and bring to a boiling point.
Add jello, and when dissolved, let cool. Then add the fruit cocktail, salad dressing, marshmallows, and nuts.Whip milk until very stiff and fold into mixture. The fruit salad recipe is ready to serve....a nice one !

FRESH FRUIT SALAD RECIPE IN CHAMPAGNE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 golden delicious apple, quartered
  • 1 pear, quartered
  • 1 orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/2 red or pink grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/4 cup green seedless grapes
  • 1/4 cup red seedless grapes
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Champagne, enough to cover individual servings

INSTRUCTIONS
Wash fruit, remove peels, cores, seeds, etc. Section citrus. Cut all fruits into bite-sized pieces. Combine all fruits in a small bowl and toss gently with honey (fine turbinado or 10X sugar may also be used).

Chill for 30 minutes before spooning into decorative individual serving dishes or champagne glasses, filling only half the glass.
Fill the remainder of the glass with chilled champagne. Pink champagne adds color to the mix, but any champagne will be as festive.

When serving in champagne glasses, garnish the edge of the glass with a slice of lemon or orange and dip the rim of the glass in colored sugar.If serving in bowls, top with a sprig of mint and a dollop of whipped cream. The fruit salad recipe is ready to serve....enjoy the fruit salad...nice one !

  • 1 pkg. orange Jello
  • 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. lemon Jello
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • (Any other fruit may be added)

INSTRUCTIONS
Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Chill. When set, add marshmallows, pineapple, mandarin, bananas and any other fruits. When set top with frosting. Pour in square pan.

INGREDIENTS
FROSTING FOR FRUIT SALAD DELIGHT:
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix first 6 ingredients and cook until thick; when cool fold in Dream Whip; spread on salad after it has set; sprinkle with chopped nuts; cut in squares. Top each square with nuts, cherries (red or green). Serve on lettuce. The fruit salad recipe is ready to serve...great one !

Cranberry Waldorf Salad

Try this great fruit salad recipe...the Cranberry Waldorf Salad !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 medium apples, unpeeled, cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnut pieces
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In food processor, coarsely chop cranberries, stir in sugar. Cover and chill 4 hours.
2. Drain cranberries for about 2 hours, reserving liquid for another use.
3. In large bowl, stir together remaining ingredients and gently stir in drained cranberries.
The fruit salad recipe is ready...nice one !

3. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

  • 1/2 cup light French salad dressing

  • 1 cup blueberries, rinsed and stemmed
  • 6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1. For Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk dressings together until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using.
2. For Salad: Divide shredded lettuce equally among 6 plates, mounding lettuce in the center of the plate.
3. Arrange cantaloupe slices along edges of plates.
4. Halve strawberries and place a half at each end of cantaloupes.
5. Arrange a cluster of blueberries and a small mound of shredded cheddar cheese on edge of plate opposite of cantaloupe.
6. Drizzle dressing lightly over all.

INGREDIENTS

* 2 (3 ounce) packages cranberry flavored gelatin mix
* 1 cup boiling water
* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
* 1 (12 ounce) package frozen raspberries - thawed anddrained
* 1 cup ginger ale
* 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
* 1/3 cup chopped pecans
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
* 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
* Additional whipped topping


DIRECTIONS

1. In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. In amixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add hotgelatin mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in the raspberries,ginger ale, pineapple, pecans and vanilla. Refrigerate for 30minutes or until partially set.
2. Fold in whipped topping and marshmallows. Transfer to a13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm. * 1/2 cup black walnuts
* 1 (10 ounce) bag spinach leaves

* 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette

* 1 (6 ounce) container crumbled feta

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the walnuts in a small skillet over medium-high heat; toast the nuts while stirring constantly for 4 to 5 minutes; set aside to cool completely.
2. Toss together the spinach and romaine lettuce in a large mixing bowl, and toss with 1/2 cup of balsamic vinaigrette. Arrange the strawberries, pears, feta cheese, and walnuts over the top of the salad. Dress the salad with another 3 tablespoons vinaigrette and the fruit salad recipe is ready to serve...wow...great taste !

DIRECTIONS

1. Beat the cream cheese and sugar together in a large bowl. On high speed, beat in the whipped topping. Fold in the bananas, pineapple, fruit cocktail, apple, and coconut. If desired, mix in the maraschino cherries, pecans, and raisins. Pour the salad into a serving bowl, and chill 1 hour before serving....yes..what a creamy taste...nice !

* 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

DIRECTIONS

1. Wash and dry grapes. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Add grapes and mix until evenly incorporated. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans, mix again and refrigerate until serving.....mmm great taste of grapes salad..!

  • 1 container (8 ounces) nonfat plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons thawed orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce cut into 8 wedges
  • 8 fresh apricots, halved and pits removed
  • 1 pint basket fresh strawberries
  • 1 cantaloupe, seeded, sliced and rind removed
  • 1/4 cup shelled and chopped natural pistachios
1. To make dressing, in bowl whisk yogurt, orange juice concentrate, basil and honey.
2. To assemble salad, on individual serving plates (or on platter) arrange remaining ingredients, dividing equally. Serve dressing on the side.....yummy...nice !
