Blueberry-Orange-Onion Salad Recipe

FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INGREDIENT
  • 1 orange, peeled, the pith removed and sliced thinly
  • 1 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced (or other sweet variety of onion)
  • Salad greens, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Blueberry Sour Cream Dressing (recipe follows)
FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Arrange orange and onion slices over a bed of salad greens. Sprinkle blueberries on top. Serve with Blueberry Sour Cream Dressing...mmm mama mia....great !

Blueberry and Tortellini Fruit Salad Recipe

Fruit Salad Recipe Ingredient :
  • 1 (9-ounce) package three cheese tortellini pasta*
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 (11-ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
  • 3/4 cup green grapes
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup bottled poppy seed dressing
Fruit Salad Recipe Instructions
1. Cook pasta according to directions on package; drain.
2. In a large bowl, add pasta and salad ingredients.
3. Pour dressing over salad and toss lightly; refrigerate until ready to serve.....mmm great ! Enjoy it !

FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INGREDIENTS

* 1 lime - zested, peeled, and sliced
* 1 mandarin orange (tangerine) - zested, peeled, and sectioned
* 1 navel orange, peeled and sectioned
* 1 grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
* 1 bulb shallots, diced
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 head romaine lettuce, torn

FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place lime slices, tangerine sections, navel orange, and grapefruit in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the lime zest, mandarin orange zest, shallots, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Pour over the fruit. Arrange dressed fruit atop romaine lettuce and the fruit salad recipe is ready to serve....hmmmm !

FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INGREDIENT
  • 1 Winesap or Fuji apple, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 15 radishes, sliced thinly
  • 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 1 small ripe mango, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons creamed horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh dill
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Dill for garnish (optional)
FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine the prepared apple, radishes, celery and mango in a large serving bowl.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients.
3. Pour dressing over the vegetables and fruit, tossing gently until all ingredients are well coated. Adjust seasoning as desired. Garnish with dill sprigs....this fruit salad recipe is ready to swirl your taste...!

* 1/2 cup vegetable oil
* 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
* 8 cups torn salad greens
* 2 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned
* 1 large grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
* 1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
* 1 cup green grapes
* 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, sugar and salt. Add avocados. In a large salad bowl, toss remaining ingredients. Pour the dressing over salad and gently toss to coat. Serve the fruit salad recipe immediately....wow...amazing...nice taste !

Creamy Fruit Salad Recipe

Fruit Salad Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1/4 sugar
  • Egg substitute equivalent to one egg
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 cup lemon juice, divided
  • 2 cups light whipped topping
  • 6 medium red apples, diced
  • 6 medium firm bananas, sliced
  • 3 cups halved green grapes
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Fruit Salad Recipe INSTRUCTIONS:
In a heavy saucepan, combine orange and pineapple juices, sugar, egg and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Cool.

When cool, fold in the whipped cream.

In a large serving bowl, toss apples with remaining lemon juice. Add bananas and grapes. Add the dressing; stir to coat. Refrigerate. Fold in pecans just before serving.

* 2 (3 ounce) packages raspberry flavored gelatin mix
* 2 cups hot water
* 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
* 1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 1 cup sour cream
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


FRUIT SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine hot water and gelatin; stir until dissolved. Stir in pineapple and blueberry pie filling. Pour into a 9x13 inch dish and chill in refrigerator until firm.
2. Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Spread over firm gelatin. Chill until serving. This great blueberry fruit salad recipe is ready to serve...nice !

Fruit Salad Recipe Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups non-dairy whipped topping*
  • 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple tidbits, well drained
  • 2 (11-ounce) cans mandarin oranges, well drained
  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated orange peel (optional)
Fruit Salad Recipe Instructions
1. In large mixing bowl combine sour cream with the whipped topping. Add remaining ingredients and gently fold in until just combined.
2. Transfer to serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Makes 12 servings.

* Or substitute with 2 cups lightly sweetened real whipped cream.

Variation: Reduce the pineapple and mandarin oranges by half and add the same amount of any fresh or frozen fruit that suits your fancy such as sliced bananas, chopped apple, grapes,
strawberries, blueberries, peaches. or a frozen fruit such as strawberries or blueberries.

Fruit Salad Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 medium apples, not peeled and diced
  • 1 (17 ounce) can apricot halves, drained and sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pear halves, drained and sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup flaked coconut, toasted

Fruit Salad Recipe Instructions:
Layer apples, apricots, pears, peaches and pineapple in a large bowl. Combine orange juice and lemon juice and pour over fruit. Spread cherry pie filling on top. Cover and chill for two hours.
Arrange banana slices over pie filling.
Sprinkle with the coconut. The fruit salad recipe is ready to serve immediately...enjoy !
